Inclusion
Inclusion is not just about students being in the classroom. It is about intentionally planning for access and success for all students in your classroom.
Inclusion is about intentionally including and using student voice, essential supports, and student strengths.

Inclusion in the Classroom - Start with the Access Point
A starting point for inclusion is to begin by planning the access point.
Reflect: Where are my students at right now?
What are there interests, strengths and talents?
What can we all do together to develop and share those interests, strengths, and talents?

Start there. That is your access point. Build upon the access point and increase the complexity of the goals and lessons.
This is planning for inclusion. This is planning for all.
